Suspending in-person worship

Hi Church,
After listening to the Mayor, Health Department, and the rise in positive testing, it is in our best interest to not hold in-person worship services on Sunday, July 12 or Sunday, July 19. Because the risk of spreading has been labeled “high” and with the virus’s 2-week incubation period, we want to err on the side of caution. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. The safety of our community and those that fellowship with our congregation is our number one priority. This Sunday there will be a worship video with Second Baptist and Belmont Baptist. We will have a Zoom Fellowship this Sunday, July 12 at 10:30 am. On Sunday July 19th, our band will have a pre-recorded worship service ready for you to join us in worship virtually. There will also be a Zoom fellowship. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me directly. The CLC and I will continue to keep you informed and discuss future plans. I appreciate your flexibility and consideration.

Peace,
Pastor Joy
