The Karen (pronounced Car’in) have been worshipping at 1340 K Street since their arrival in Lincoln back in 2008. Leaving their homes in Myanmar, formally Burma, the Karen have come to Lincoln by way of Thailand. The Karen People and American Baptists can trace their roots to Adoniram Judson at the turn of the 19th century.
